(pro rata)+ 12% superannuation + leave loading & Salary Sacrifice Benefits Temporary Part Time position working 24 hours per week up to 8 January 2027 We’re seeking a dedicated Associate Nurse Unit Manager for our Palliative Care team. If you're a skilled nurse/midwife looking to make a lasting difference in people's lives while supporting a compassionate, expert team, we want to hear from you Key Responsibilities Lead the delivery of palliative care services, ensuring continuity and consistency Assist in managing ward/unit operations, including staffing, performance, and financial planning. Foster collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care outcomes. Support the development of less experienced staff and ensure high practice standards. Contribute to practice improvements and operational management alongside the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager. What We’re Looking For A registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years post-registration experience. Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills. Proven ability to work effectively both independently and within a team. Demonstrated experience in supervising and mentoring less experienced staff. Knowledge of relevant healthcare legislation, quality improvement systems, and contemporary issues in healthcare.
