About the Role: We’re seeking an experienced Senior Recruitment Advisor with strong technical hiring expertise, capable of identifying and engaging the right candidates for even the most challenging roles. You’ll bring fresh ideas on sourcing and talent attraction, helping us fill high-priority, business‑critical positions across the business. In this role, you’ll have the freedom to design targeted attraction strategies, build relevant talent communities, and creatively leverage a range of sourcing channels and online platforms. This position is based in our North Sydney office. Responsibilities (include but not limited to): Talent attraction and sourcing through effective use of an internal CRM, business networking, social media platforms, and job boards Providing critical insights to the People & Culture Manager on sourcing strategies, selection methods and strategic talent Identifying resources, systems and methods for attracting top talent and promoting MINETEK as an 'Employer of Choice' Coaching and educating business leaders of talent acquisition programs and best practice Contributing to the development and improvement of recruitment and on‑boarding process, succession planning and strategic departmental goals Managing all administrative functions associated with candidate lifecycle including candidate screening, interviewing, follow up and background checking Maintaining compliance, regulation and policy as per company standards and guidelines About You: Previous experience with internal sourcing/recruiting OR experience in an external role with an executive/technical search firm Exceptional sales and customer service skills – can sell 'the dream' and tap into the passive candidates motivations for considering MINETEK as a future employer Highly proficient in the use of LinkedIn Recruiter, Talent Search and other recruitment networking tools Naturally engaging, energetic and can build trust with people Confident, articulate and motivated with well developed written and verbal communication skills Smart negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to identify and preempt potential candidate reservations well in advance A very high attention to detail - you like things to be just right and can maintain consistency with a process and quality of output under pressure Certification or qualifications in Human Resources beneficial but not essential Highly resourceful, driven and can use initiative to go beyond instruction and deliver outcomes for the business that exceed expectations Culture and Benefits Minetek is an organisation with strong company values, a business that cares about the personal and professional development of its employees.
