Super Narre Warren / Hybrid working Start ASAP About the role: The Application Support Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day support, administration, and enhancement of Council’s core enterprise systems, with a particular focus on TechnologyOne. The role provides critical Level 2/3 functional support, troubleshooting, and minor configuration to ensure stable operations. It also contributes to testing, documentation, training, and vendor coordination to assist the Application Support team in managing the TechnologyOne BAU & Enhancements workload. Responsibilities Provide second and third level application support to business users, focusing on the TechnologyOne modules (CES, P&R, OneCouncil). Perform functional triage and analysis of incidents and service requests, identifying root causes and implementing workarounds or permanent fixes. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to resolve issues, coordinate patches, and apply system configurations and enhancements. Assist in the development and execution of test plans for patches, releases, enhancements and upgrades. Contribute to knowledge base articles, internal documentation, and training material for supported systems. Participate in change management processes and ensure compliance with ICT procedures. Support operational readiness for TechnologyOne BAU & Enhancements transition activities. Monitor system health and performance, ensuring issues are proactively identified and escalated where appropriate. Assist with user access management and security role assignments where delegated. Experience Familiarity with enterprise applications similar to Technology One. An understanding of the function of the position within its organisational context, including relevant policies, regulations and precedents. An understanding is required of the long-term goals of the wider organisation and of its values and aspirations and of the legal and political context in which it operates. Knowledge of and familiarity with the principles and practices of budgeting and relevant accounting and financial procedures may be required. Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate). SQL querying skills. Experience in Agile or DevOps environments. Experience with integration tools or APIs (advantageous).
