Transport Coordinator | Metroll Pakenham Metroll Pakenham is seeking an organised and safety-focused Transport Coordinator to support our daily transport operations. About the Role Reporting to the Transport Manager, you’ll be responsible for coordinating and supervising outbound and inbound transport activities to ensure deliveries are safe, efficient, and compliant. You’ll manage load planning, scheduling, customer communication, and compliance across fatigue management, Chain of Responsibility (CoR), and load restraint standards. This role is key to keeping our fleet running smoothly and our customers well supported. Key Responsibilities Create, review, and allocate daily loads to support safe and efficient delivery Consolidate freight to maximise utilisation while meeting service expectations Prepare and maintain daily transport schedules, adjusting as needed throughout the day Work closely with warehouse, production, and drivers to ensure seamless operations Ensure compliance with Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL), Chain of Responsibility (CoR), fatigue management, and load restraint requirements Support Chain of Responsibility (CoR) audits, incident reporting, and corrective actions Monitor driver hours and rest breaks, maintaining accurate records Act as a primary contact for delivery queries, updates, and service recovery Maintain transport documentation, manifests, and daily logs Promote a safe, compliant, and positive team culture Skills & Experience Experience in transport coordination, logistics, or dispatch (manufacturing or FMCG highly regarded) Strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR), Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL), fatigue management, and load restraint standards Excellent communication and customer service capability Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask Proficiency with transport management systems and Microsoft Office High attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability You’ll Succeed Here If You Are Safety-minded and proactive Calm under pressure and adaptable to changing priorities A strong team collaborator with great interpersonal skills Detail-oriented, accountable, and solutions-focused If you’re ready to join a supportive team and play a key role in delivering great service to our customers, we’d love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
