Health Clinician - Joint Child Protection Response Program Central Coast Local Health District – Central Coast NSW Employment Type : Permanent Full TimePosition Classification : Health Clinician Level 3Remuneration : Depending on qualificationsHours Per Week : 38Requisition ID : REQ Applications Close: Sunday, 28 December 2025 at 11:59pmInterview Date: Early January 2026 About the Opportunity The Health Clinician supports the Senior Health Clinician in operationalizing the Health components within the Joint Child Protection Response Program (JCPRP) in partnership with NSW Police and Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ). The Program responds to serious and criminal cases of sexual assault, physical abuse and neglect of children and young people. This position is part of the small health team within the multiagency service. About You Depending on your qualifications, we are looking for someone who has: Social Work applicants must have tertiary qualifications in Social Work and eligibility for professional association membership. Psychology applicants must have a tertiary degree from a recognised University and current General Registration with AHPRA. Clinical Psychologists are welcome to apply however salary will be capped at Senior Psychology level. Advanced understanding of Health service therapeutic responses to sexual assault and physical abuse/neglect of children with experience in providing intervention to victims of child sexual assault and abuse. Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with experience working alongside multiple stakeholders including NSW Police and the Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ).
