At Central Coast Local Health District, our vision is clear: Trusted care. Better health for everyone. Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people and their families? Do you thrive in a supportive team that values collaboration, laughter, and camaraderie just as much as clinical excellence? If so, we’d love to hear from you. We’re looking for a Mental Health Clinician (Level 3) to join our Safeguards Team – a service dedicated to providing trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, and holistic care for children, adolescents, and their families. About the Role Provide compassionate, trauma-informed, recovery-oriented care to children, young people, and families. You’ll play a key role in care coordination, ensuring each young person feels heard, supported, and connected to the right services at the right time. Build authentic, playful, and engaging relationships with young people – meeting them at their level with creativity, energy, and empathy. Whether it’s through conversation, activity, or shared humour, you’ll create safe spaces that foster trust, resilience, and growth. Partner with parents, carers, and key community stakeholders , including schools, headspace, and other services, to provide holistic support. You will play a role in strengthening family systems and ensuring young people are surrounded by care that is consistent, community-driven, and culturally respectful. Be part of a lighthearted, close-knit team where connection, laughter, and camaraderie fuel the work we do. While we take clinical care seriously, we know the best outcomes come from a team that supports each other, values joy and brings warmth to even the most challenging days. Contribute to an innovative and adaptive service that has been consistently recognised for its positive impact on families. You’ll have the chance to be part of a team that doesn’t just deliver care but constantly evolves and finds creative ways to better meet the needs of children, young people, and carers. 1 full‑time role available, working a rotating 7‑day a week roster: Monday to Friday 12 midday to 8.30 pm and Saturday and Sunday 9.30 am to 6:00pm.
