Greek speaking friendly volunteer visitor for aged care resident If you speak Greek and would like to share stories with an older Greek, this role is for you We have 2 lovely Greek ladies living in aged care homes in Malvern East and Caulfield who would love to meet you. An hour of your time per week for a chat, a cup of coffee or a little walk, would make a difference in someone's life. MS Plus is funded to provide a volunteer visiting program the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS). You need to be warm, caring, reliable and be willing to commit to weekly visits, or at least fortnightly visits, for a minimum of 6 months. Good Greek communication skills are required for this recipient, however volunteers with other languages willing to be matched to the same language are very welcome to enquire. MS believes in a person-to-person approach and aspire to match you with someone local with shared interests and hobbies. We look forward to hearing from you. *MS Plus is a child safe organisation with a Child Safety and Wellbeing Policy.* Category: Community Services Commitment: Regular - more than 6 months Type Of Work: Companionship & Social Support, Seniors & Aged Care Time Required: Weekly visits are preferred or at least once a fortnight, by mutual convenience, any day of the week/fortnight with a minimum 6‑month commitment requirement.
