Talk Greek, Share Joy Volunteer with Seniors If you speak Greek and would like to share stories with an older Greek, this role is for you We are currently looking for Greek‑speaking volunteers to visit socially isolated residents in aged‑care homes in Preston and Brunswick. An hour of your time per week for a chat, a cup of coffee or a little walk would make a difference in someone’s life. MS Plus is funded to provide a volunteer visiting program through the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS). You need to be warm, caring, reliable and be willing to commit to weekly visits, for a minimum of six months. MS believes in a person‑to‑person approach and aspires to match you with someone local with shared interests and hobbies. Details Category: Community Services Commitment: Regular – more than six months Type of Work: Companionship & Social Support, Seniors & Aged Care Time Required: Weekly visits preferred or at least once a fortnight, by mutual convenience; any day of the week/fortnight with a minimum six‑month commitment. The length of each visit is determined by the visitor. Training: Induction training and optional additional training offered each year MS Plus is a child‑safe organisation with a Child Safety and Wellbeing Policy.
