Greek Speaking Volunteer - Coffee outings with Con - Balwyn In the past, Con used to love playing lawn bowls. Nowadays, John is quite the green thumb and he likes to spend time in the garden tending to his veggies. John would love to be connected with a Greek speaking volunteer to share interests and accompany him on outings to local cafés. If you would like to connect with older people who are socially isolated, we’d love to hear from you This volunteer role offers: An opportunity to gain experience in the aged care sector An opportunity to make a positive impact in your community and in the life of someone else Supervision and opportunities for learning and development We offer opportunities in skill and knowledge development, as well as ongoing support and mentoring. Good communications skills and the ability to work independently are a must. Having a driver’s licence/access to own vehicle is highly desired but not essential.
