Catherine Field (ACVVS) Share a cuppa, share a conversation, share a little joy We are seeking a warm and caring volunteer to spend time with an elderly lady who lives independently in her own home in Catherine Field. She would truly cherish regular visits from someone who enjoys gentle, meaningful conversation and can share relatable, mature discussions. She loves sitting down over a cup of tea or coffee, having a chat, and reminiscing about her past interests, especially her love of gardening and spending time outdoors. This role is ideal for someone who values genuine connection and would find joy in bringing companionship, comfort, and conversation to someone who would deeply appreciate it. Visits can be arranged at a time that suits both you and her. If you are looking for a heartfelt and rewarding volunteer experience that makes a real difference in an older person's life, we would love to hear from you. Your impact Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated. We have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of elderly people. We'd be happy to chat with you about a suitable day and time during the week. Training Training is provided as well as ongoing support by a Volunteer Coordinator.
