The Position We are seeking an inspirational, values-driven and strategic Chief Executive Officer to lead GetCareers through its next phase of growth and innovation. Reporting to the Chair and Board of Directors, the CEO will be responsible for all aspects of strategy, leadership, culture and operations, ensuring excellence in service delivery and long-term sustainability. Key Responsibilities Strategy: Lead and deliver the GetCareers Strategic Plan, ensuring realistic performance goals are achieved. Operations: Drive business growth and operational excellence, strengthening industry engagement and brand presence. Finance, Risk, and Compliance: Continue to develop a financially sustainable organisation through sound governance, innovation and prudent management. Leadership and People: Inspire and empower a high-performing team, embedding a culture of safety, respect and accountability. Governance: Provide strategic advice to the Board and foster strong stakeholder relationships across government, business and community sectors. About You The selection criteria will be based on the following attributes: Relevant tertiary qualifications. A proven track record of success as the CEO or senior leader of a similar organisation or business. An understanding of and commitment to the values of GetCareers. Proven ability to successfully deliver a strategic plan and translate strategy into operational excellence. Senior executive-level leadership skills in an organisation having experienced significant change, with strong capabilities in change management, decision-making, communication and emotional intelligence. Experience in working with and for a Board of Directors. High-level ability to develop and maintain effective relationships and collaborative partnerships both within and external to the organisation. Strong financial and business acumen with extensive experience in managing organisational budgets, business plans and funding submissions in collaboration with an Executive Team.
