Social Media Marketing Executive

Overview We are seeking a Social Media Marketing Executive to join the Crown Sydney Marketing team in Barangaroo. The role requires a marketing‑oriented social media specialist who can bring creativity and strategic thinking to the Hospitality portfolio, leading campaigns, activations, event planning, partnerships, EDMs, socials and digital, while guiding all creative across the property. The role also leads content development and influencer strategy for Crown Sydney. You will execute a robust marketing calendar that includes Icebergs Harbour Bar, Golden Century and Oncore by Clare Smyth, collaborating with Brand, Marketing Communications and the operational business unit to map fully integrated campaigns. The ideal candidate is a driven hospitality marketing professional who thrives in dynamic, customer‑facing environments and can manage senior stakeholders, collaborate effectively, navigate challenges, and view obstacles as opportunities. Responsibilities Develop and implement social media plans aligned with strategies for F&B outlets and Crown Sydney Deliver a social media content strategy, including style guides that drive business objectives Lead briefings with outlet stakeholders to understand campaign and content requirements Collaborate with PR to develop content that aligns with PR and influencer initiatives Coordinate briefs for content requirements (video, imagery, photography, technology) for campaigns and promotions Work with in‑house Studio and external agencies to develop creative as needed Build the social media listening insights report to proactively and reactively manage issues, coordinating with PR Engage with legal and compliance to ensure T&Cs meet regulatory obligations Coordinate with Procurement to source prizes or offers for promotions Qualifications 3+ years marketing experience (hospitality, hotels, travel/tourism or retail is ideal) Strong passion for brand marketing with demonstrated success in driving results Experience supporting, contributing to or managing integrated social media campaigns Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to liaise with all levels of stakeholders Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines and stakeholders in a high‑pressure environment Relevant marketing or related qualifications OR demonstrated industry experience Ability to work Monday – Friday; after‑hours and weekend availability as required Unrestricted and permanent Australian working rights What we offer you Opportunity to be part of a high performing team within an iconic luxury brand Key role in marketing activities and events for multiple Crown Sydney brands Discounts across Crown Resorts hotels, including restaurants and bars Complimentary meals at on‑site staff restaurant (variety of hot foods, salad + sandwich bar, fruit and pastries) Opportunity to participate in Crown’s group‑wide recognition and awards program Active contribution to Crown’s community, diversity & inclusion committees To be considered, you must have permanent and unrestricted Australian working rights.
