Microsoft Fabric Consultant As a Microsoft Fabric Consultant, you will design, implement, and optimize cloud-based data analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric . Key Responsibilities Architect and deploy Microsoft Fabric components (OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Real-Time Analytics, Power BI). Build and optimize data pipelines using Data Factory and Fabric Dataflows Gen2. Develop semantic models and implement Direct Lake connectivity for Power BI. Migrate legacy data platforms and reporting systems to Microsoft Fabric. Integrate data from multiple sources (cloud, on-premise, third-party). Implement Microsoft Purview for data governance and compliance. Apply RBAC, encryption, and security best practices. Design and deliver interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI. Enable self-service analytics for business users. Conduct capacity planning and cost optimization for Fabric environments. Work closely with stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate them into technical solutions. Provide training and knowledge transfer to client teams. Stay updated on Microsoft Fabric advancements, AI integration, and best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Expertise Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric services: OneLake, Data Factory, Synapse, Power BI. Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL / ELT processes, and Lakehouse architecture. Hands‑on experience with SQL, Python, and optionally PySpark or Scala. Governance & Compliance Familiarity with Microsoft Purview, GDPR, and data security frameworks. Certifications Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate (preferred). Azure Data Engineer Associate or Power BI Data Analyst. Soft Skills Strong communication, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work in Agile environments and lead workshops. Nice to Have Experience with AI integration (Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio). Knowledge of CI / CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
