Legal Counsel Delaware North Australia is seeking a full‑time Legal Counsel with 3 – 4 years PQE to join our in‑house legal team based at Head Office, Docklands. You’ll provide practical, commercial advice across a diverse portfolio covering Sports & Entertainment, Parks & Resorts, Merchandise, Travel Hospitality, and Gaming, helping leaders make confident decisions while protecting our brands and guests. Manage legal risk and provide commercial advice across procurement, licensing, partnerships, and operational matters Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, clearly communicating risks and well‑reasoned positions Conduct legal research, policy development, governance, support company secretarial activities, and maintain key records Drive operational projects, support litigation and investigations, and maintain robust systems for contracts and intellectual property Collaborate closely with functional leaders and site teams, and brief external counsel when required Communicate complex legal issues clearly and constructively to non‑lawyers More About You Must hold an LLB or JD and be admitted in an Australian jurisdiction with a current practising certificate Minimum 3 – 4 years’ PQE (private practice and/or in‑house) with strength in commercial contracting, corporate advisory, compliance, and regulatory matters Experience and knowledge in privacy and data protection Strong drafting and negotiation skills, business acumen, clear communication abilities, and a track record of ownership and reliability Exposure to gaming law, HR/employment, and liquor licensing is highly regarded About Delaware North Delaware North is a family‑owned company with over 100 years of history.
