Orange Ex-Services’ Club is currently seeking a dedicated Apprentice Greenkeeper for an immediate start to join our Greenkeeping Team. This is a great opportunity to kick start your career and learn your trade from a highly experienced team of Greenkeepers. As part of the apprenticeship, you will be exposed to both Golf Course and Bowling Green construction, preparation, maintenance, and repair while also studying a Certificate 3 in Sports Turf Management. Qualifications A driver’s license and own transport A commitment to being reliable and flexible with a strong work ethic. Ability to work weekends and public holidays as required. A commitment to working safely. What We Provide Full time position Exposure to greenkeeping duties on both the Golf Course and Bowling Greens. All course and administration fees paid for Certificate 3 in Sports Turf Management. Rostered and paid to attend Kurri Kurri Tafe, including travel and accommodation expenses. Access to the OESC Employee Rewards Program. All uniforms, tools, and footwear. This is a unique opportunity to join a dedicated team of Greenkeepers working across multiple sites with an emphasis on learning how to present and maintain our 18-hole Golf Course and Bowling Greens to the highest standards. This position is remunerated in accordance with the Registered and Licensed Clubs Award 2020 Apprentice or Adult Apprentice.
