Business Overview ISPTs Property function is the central manager of the organisations asset performance and operations across the diversified portfolio of office retail industrial healthcare and life sciences and social community infrastructure. The team is responsible for managing property performance tenant partner relations leasing outcomes and capital investment ensuring optimal asset utilisation to drive long-term value. A key objective of the Property function is characterised by a commitment to sustainable property practices innovative solutions with a strong focus on tenant‑partner relationships and a dedication to enhancing the quality and experience of the built environment. The Opportunity As a Regional Leasing Manager you will lead a team of retail leasing executives focusing on both creating and preserving asset value by optimising leasing this role you will guide state-based Leasing Executives to enhance and deliver the retail offering across our portfolio ensuring outstanding and sustainable returns for the organisation. As an integral part of the Retail services team this role will have you : Working with Asset Managers on retail assets to analyse market trends assessing the characteristics of performance to ensure the most appropriate tenant mix is achieved to maximise returns You will lead your team of leasing executives guiding them through strategic retail planning and the repositioning of our retail portfolio You will build relationships with retailers in the market to positively impact the ability for the team to attract premium covenants that maximises leasing returns You will negotiate commercial terms and leases directly with retailers on assets As an expectation you will provide strategic market advice in relation to market rents and existing property acquisition and master planning for development You will actively collaborate with the broader national leasing team sharing insights and best practices to support consistent leasing strategies across all regions Your role will involve regular communication and coordination with the National Leasing Manager Retail ensuring that regional activities are integrated with national priorities This role reports to the National Leasing Manager Retail. About you You are a true collaborator and understand the importance of the teams you work with and how best to partner with them. You have completed tertiary studies in either real estate or property with experience in working in the property industry (or similar). Success in this role requires strong communication and written presentation skills with a proven ability to communicate with precision grammatical accuracy and influence. You also have extensive expertise in data analysis and reporting with the ability to interpret complex information and translate insights into strategic recommendations that drive informed leadership decisions. You know the Australian retail market and you bring experience in understanding the end‑to‑end leasing process including lease administration tenancy fit out design and building services and an understanding of master planning. As a strong communicator and negotiator you also have the ability to integrate quickly into a flexible team‑oriented environment.
