Job Details Location: 3751 Napier Street, Burnaby, BC V5C 3E4 (On‑site) Salary: $29.42–$35.72 per hour (to be negotiated); 37.5 hours per week Employment type: Permanent, Full‑time, Day shift Vacancies: 7 Start date: As soon as possible Qualifications & Experience Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years in outdoor landscaping, grounds maintenance or related work Supervision: 1–2 people Equipment & machinery: Chain saw, small‑engine equipment, tractor mower Specialization: Lawn care, grounds maintenance, landscape construction Responsibilities Direct planting of trees, gardens and lawns Organize planting activities Plan and direct grounds maintenance Organize and direct construction of decks, decorative or retaining walls Plan, manage and supervise landscape construction work Maintain work records and logs Read blueprints and drawings Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies Work Conditions & Physical Requirements Fast‑paced environment Work under pressure, tight deadlines Handling heavy loads, physically demanding Manual dexterity, attention to detail Ability to distinguish colors Combination of sitting, standing, walking; standing for extended periods; bending, crouching, kneeling Large workload load Personal Suitability Client focus Initiative Judgment Team player Flexibility Benefits Health benefits: Dental plan, Health care plan Financial benefits: As per collective agreement LMIA Information Labor Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) requested.
