Irrigation & Landscaping Supervisor

Join a growing North Queensland civil construction business and take the lead on the installation, maintenance, and enhancement of irrigation and landscaping works across a range of projects as our Irrigation & Landscaping Supervisor . About the Role Hands‑on leadership — supervise and coordinate your crew and subcontractors, interpret drawings, and manage materials and quality control. Stable pipeline of work — as part of Mendi Constructions, you’ll contribute to major projects across Townsville and surrounding regions. Quality‑driven environment — maintain a strong focus on workmanship, efficiency, safety, and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Oversee day‑to‑day landscaping & irrigation installations, including turf, planting, civil interface Read and interpret plans/drawings & ensure works completed to specification and timeframes Manage materials, equipment and subcontractors on‑site Conduct quality and safety checks, ensure compliance with standards Liaise with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders to deliver outstanding outcomes What we’re looking for Proven experience in landscaping & irrigation installation/maintenance (ideally in commercial/civil projects) Strong ability to read drawings and specifications Leadership and communication skills – you’ll motivate a team and manage subcontractors Current driver’s licence (MR/HR licence a bonus), Construction Induction (White Card), horticulture/trade qualification is preferred Based in or willing to relocate to Townsville region; ability to travel to site locations as required About Us Mendi Constructions, part of the Doyle Group, has been a trusted name in North Queensland for over 65 years.
