APS5 Senior Officer, Finance The Senior Officer, Finance is a key member of the Financial Operations and External Reporting Team within the Finance, Property and Procurement Branch. You’ll play an important role in supporting AUSTRAC’s financial operations. You’ll utilise your skills by entering and reconciling revenue and expenditure transaction through the Financial Management Information System (FMIS), Technology 1. This includes vendor records, journal entries, bank reconciliations, month end processing and credit cards. If you’re ready to take the next step in your finance career and contribute to AUSTRAC, we encourage you to apply now The key duties of the position include: Assist with goods receipting of contractor invoices Reconciliation of monthly travel expenditure allocation Assist with vendor record maintenance in the Financial Management Information System (FMIS), Technology 1 Coordinate the credit cards of the agency, including monthly statement acquittal Contributing to agency-wide compliance with accounting and financial management policy, consistent with relevant legislation Communicate with internal stakeholders to provide relevant process and policy advice Prepare various internal and external reports Assist the Finance team in the completion of ad hoc tasks For more information about the capabilities we’re looking for, please refer to the Candidate Pack in the AUSTRAC Careers Page. To be eligible for this role you: Must be an Australian citizen at the time you apply. Will need to undertake AUSTRAC’s pre-engagement checks. Will need to obtain and maintain an ongoing Baseline security clearance. Affirmative Measures This vacancy is being advertised concurrently under a general round, an affirmative measures disability round and an affirmative measures indigenous round.
