Role Details The Education Learning and Development Unit at Proserpine Hospital is seeking applications for a Clinical Facilitator to join their team on a temporary basis. About the Role The Clinical Nurse Facilitator role (Education) is primarily accountable for the support, education and development of undergraduate nurses on placement. You will be collaborating with the Nurse Educator and external stakeholders to ensure that workplace integrated learning across the varied clinical units within Proserpine Hospital are supported. The position requires advanced level clinical skill to ensure supported practice across all health service areas in the Proserpine Hospital. About the Team The Clinical Excellence Unit at Mackay Hospital and Health Service provides support and advice across all aspects of Service Delivery to maximize opportunities for continuous improvement that reflect contemporary practice that enhance opportunities for exceptional consumer outcomes. This is achieved through shared resources working together to provide Education, Quality, Patient Safety, Infection Control, Clinical and Service Governance. About the Hospital and Health Service Mackay Hospital and Health Service has six hospitals, two multipurpose health services and four community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff. The district covers an area of approximately 90,000 km² and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine and Sarina.
