Senior Business Analyst – IT Solutions Queensland Fire Department (QFD) is seeking a Senior Business Analyst – IT Solutions to support frontline operations and community safety portfolios. The role will analyse and maintain business system requirements for core applications, collaborate with development teams, engage stakeholders, and produce detailed documentation. Key Responsibilities Conduct effective elicitation processes, documenting requirements in Jira and Confluence. Manage relationships and interact with stakeholders across department levels. Perform detailed systems analysis and maintain business systems requirements. Identify issues, research, and recommend enhancements. Prioritise backlog of enhancement requests and bugs. Collaborate with the software development team to ensure alignment with business needs. Coordinate QA efforts, define test scenarios, and facilitate usability and security testing. Develop process diagrams (BPMN) and update documentation. Key Requirements High level knowledge of business analysis frameworks aligned with BABOK. Rapid acquisition of application knowledge within a large, complex service delivery environment. Advanced analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills. Experience with Agile way of working and relevant requirement management tools. Knowledge or experience in the Software Development Life Cycle.
