We are looking for a Cert III qualified person with at least 6 months experience in a similar role to join the Silverchain team. Working across Chatswood, Mosman, North Sydney, Willoughbyand other areas as part of the Lower North Shore region for TRANSPAC clients. TRANSPAC is a short-term restorative care programsupporting clients to transition home after long term hospitalisation. Are passionate about providing an excellent service. Can build positive relationships with clients and their families. Don’t sweat the small stuff. Sometimes your client will be having a bad day or traffic delays you, but you know not to take this personally and can shake it off before your next client. Are comfortable working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask your manager for help. In addition, you will need: An Open Australian Driver's Licence & your own insured, roadworthy vehicle Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support in Ageing Experience of 6 months or more in a similar role, with experience inpersonal care, manual handling, hoist training and medications. Proof of vaccination againstDiptheria, Tetanus, Pertussis (whooping cough),Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR)Varicella (chickenpox),Influenza,Covid 19 The role You will be providing our aged care clients with personal care services such as: Getting clients out of bed, showered and dressed for the day Assisting clients to take their medications Assisting with mobility and therapy goals Providing complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia Providing social and emotional support Providing the client with transport to lifestyle activities or appointments Helping the family carer to have a break or an opportunity to do other things. In the role of a TRANSPAC Care Worker you will be providing our aged care clients with home help services as a minimal portion of your roster. General housekeeping and making beds Cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors Washing, folding and ironing laundry Meal preparation and grocery shopping.
