Drive Growth with Nearmap We’re looking for a Senior Government & Utilities Account Executive to own some of our most important and strategic accounts. This is not just a sales role; it’s about becoming a trusted partner, co‑owning customer relationships with a dedicated Customer Success Manager, and delivering renewals, upsells, and completely new opportunities. Responsibilities Own and grow a portfolio of Federal Government & Utility accounts with clear territory/account plans Collaborate with Marketing, BDRs, Partnerships & Alliances to generate and progress pipeline Drive new and upsell business while partnering with your CSM on renewals and adoption Build strong, value‑based relationships with executive stakeholders and mobilisers Lead proposals and deliver compelling, customer‑focused solutions Negotiate and manage partnerships (including VARs) alongside your CSM Represent Nearmap at conferences, webinars, and industry events Stay current on market trends and develop deep expertise in Nearmap’s technology and customer use cases Qualifications 8+ years closing enterprise sales, ideally in SaaS, consistently hitting quota Experience managing 50+ accounts, balancing new business and growth Confidence engaging government executives and influencing key decisions at the Federal level Proven success in upsell, new logo acquisition, and customer expansion Skilled in value‑based selling, building ROI‑driven business cases Strong collaborator, able to align internal and partner stakeholders Experience with proposals, quoting, and complex sales cycles Salesforce experience a plus; knowledge of aerial imagery or location content desirable Strong commercial acumen, fluent in ROI, comfortable with Excel‑based business cases, and able to tailor value propositions to diverse stakeholders Strong understanding of subscription‑based business models and how to drive product adoption and retention over time Comfortable working cross‑functionally to close complex deals and deliver an exceptional customer experience Proficient with Salesforce (SFDC) and committed to accurate forecasting and clean pipeline hygiene Our promise and investment to you World‑class enablement and training Access to best‑in‑class sales tools Weekly 1:1 support Personal and career development opportunities Exposure to executive leaders passionate about living our values Why you'll love working at Nearmap Because we back our people the same way we back our product.
