Position Senior Executive Band 1 – Ongoing full-time. Remuneration: $263,098 – $287,201 per annum. About the role The Assistant Commissioner sets the strategic direction and leads the planning and delivery for Fire and Rescue NSW Metropolitan Operations. The role is accountable for day‑to‑day service delivery of Metropolitan Operations, including prevention, fire suppression, hazmat rescue and emergency services to industry and the community. About you To be successful in the role you will have operational experience and expertise within an emergency services environment. We also require: Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary issues, challenges and approaches to emergency service. Exceptional leadership capability and presence. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Demonstrated financial acumen.
