About The Opportunity We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Facilities Manager to oversee the delivery of high‑quality facilities services for a key client in the water and wastewater services sectors across South‑East Queensland. Based in Spring Hill, QLD , this permanent full‑time role manages a diverse portfolio including grounds maintenance, HVAC, pest control, sanitary services, cleaning and fire. You’ll ensure compliance, safety, and service excellence while supporting the Operations Manager in driving operational improvements and client satisfaction. Beyond day‑to‑day operations, you’ll contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and help identify opportunities to enhance service delivery and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Manage day‑to‑day delivery of facilities services across multiple sites. Monitor subcontractor performance, ensuring compliance with SLAs, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Act as a key point of contact for operational queries, resolving issues promptly and professionally. Support the Contract Manager in implementing service improvements and identifying growth opportunities. Oversee site audits, risk assessments, and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards. Assist with budgeting, cost control, and reporting for facilities operations. Foster a culture of safety and accountability within the team and among subcontractors. Collaborate with internal stakeholders including procurement, safety, and finance to ensure contract success. About You You’re a practical, results‑driven leader with solid experience in facilities operations. You know how to keep sites running smoothly, manage contractors effectively, and stay on top of compliance requirements all while building strong, trusted relationships with clients. You will also have: Proven experience in facilities or asset management, ideally within multi‑service environments. Knowledge of water and wastewater services industry; highly advantageous. Strong understanding of compliance, safety, and quality standards. Ability to manage subcontractor performance and service delivery effectively. Experience with budgeting, cost control, and operational reporting. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. A proactive approach to problem‑solving and continuous improvement.
