We’re looking for a confident, compassionate woman with the strength to lead, the heart to care, and the skill to support women through life’s toughest moments. Here’s what we’re looking for: Experience: 12 months or more providing high-intensity mental health or disability support. Qualifications: Minimum Certificate III in Disability Services, Individual Support, Mental Health, or Community Services. Skills: Confident in de‑escalation, following Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs), clear and concise in documentation, and able to collaborate effectively while following escalation processes. Availability: Comfortable providing 1:1 support within a 24/7 rotating roster, including inactive sleepovers. Health‑conscious: You care about fitness, self‑improvement, and leading by example, you live the values you bring to work. Resilient: Able to stay calm, grounded, and solution‑focused when faced with complex and challenging situations. Your Role as Support Worker Will Involve Supporting women transitioning from inpatient care to community living with the backing of a SIL team. Providing consistent mental health support and mentorship. Managing challenging situations with professionalism and compassion. Working closely with behaviour specialists, clinicians, and other stakeholders. Writing accurate, detailed shift notes, incident reports, and risk management documentation. Assisting with personal care and daily living when needed. Being part of a team that values growth, culture, and heart. Providing support in the community.
