As a Cook you’ll be part of an experienced engaged and dedicated team helping to create a welcoming professional and supportive care experience for the residents of St Vincents Care Services Edgecliff. St Vincents Care Services Edgecliff is just 4km east of Sydney’s city centre. Our small but homey 39 bed facility is located in a tranquil leafy suburb within walking distance of public transport. Things that work for us Qualification in Commercial Cooking. Previous experience in a similar role assisting in the preparation and serving of meals. Aged care & / or hospital experience desirable. Flexibility to produce special dietary requirements knowledge of aged care related nutrition and special diets for health advantageous. Assisting with food service duties including setting tables cleaning dishes and cleaning Genuine and professional customer service skills team player and well presented Ensure compliance with food safety hygiene standards Maintaining a safe environment for residents and staff Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check Our kitchen operates seven (7) days a week and as such the successful applicant will need to be flexible in their availability across the week for both AM and PM shifts.
