We’re continuing to grow our Life Insurance advice team and are looking for an experienced Senior Risk Adviser in our Sydney Office who wants to step into a high-impact, client-facing role supported by a powerful brand, strong lead flow, and a deep database of previously quoted clients. This role is ideal for an experienced adviser who has a love for life insurance and excels in serving high quality clients and enjoys the thrill of new business. The Opportunity CBD Location – 5 min walk from Town Hall Hybrid Working Arrangement Competitive Salary Package As a Senior Risk Adviser, You Will Deliver compliant, high-quality life insurance advice to existing clients. Drive new business—supported by a rich database of prior customers. Support VIP clients through claims, including escalated or denied claims. Be our technical expert for our life insurance division. Act as contingent Responsible Manager to the existing RM. This is a role for someone who’s passionate, client-focused, ethical, and eager to make an impact. What You’ll Do Conduct regular formal client reviews and manage service requests, renewals and coverage changes. Identify opportunities to enhance or extend coverage within permitted advice scope. Maintain accurate, audit-ready documentation and CRM records. Provide clear education to clients on policy terms, premiums, exclusions and rider options. Engage proactively with a deep database of previously quoted customers to generate new opportunities. Book and run new client meetings, complete risk profiling and present tailored life insurance solutions. Prepare SOAs where required and manage applications through underwriting to policy issue (supported by a paraplanning service). Build, maintain and report on your sales pipeline to ensure strong progression and conversion outcomes. Deliver compliant personal advice under AFSL requirements and meet all best interests duties and internal compliance policies. Stay across life insurance products, insurer updates and market trends to support high-quality advice. Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to share insights and improve processes. Provide claims support for Relationship Managed clients and assist CCA customers through escalated or denied claims. About You Meet FASEA requirements for personal life insurance advice. 10+ years’ experience in life insurance advisory sales. Strong commercial acumen and a track record of meeting sales/retention targets. Australian work rights and eligibility to provide financial advice in Australia. Why Compare Club?
