Senior Accountant – Own Your Portfolio in a Modern Boutique Firm (Varsity Lakes) $90,000–$110,000 + Super + Bonus (based on experience) About Us We’re A-Team Tax, a modern Gold Coast accounting firm based in Varsity Lakes. About the Role You’ll take ownership of your own client portfolio, working directly with business owners and individuals to deliver compliance and advisory services. This role suits a hands‑on senior who enjoys client interaction and wants to see the real impact of their work every day. Your responsibilities will include: Managing and developing your own portfolio of business clients Preparing and reviewing financial statements, income tax returns, and compliance reports Advising clients on structuring, tax planning, and business improvement Liaising with the ATO for audits, queries, and representation Attending client meetings to deliver proactive, tailored advice Mentoring junior and offshore staff where needed Collaborating directly with the director to improve systems and client outcomes About You You’re experienced, proactive, and confident managing clients independently, but you value having a supportive director and small team around you.
