Employment type: Ongoing & Temporary Full Time Opportunities Available Salary: $113,266 pa – $125,720 pa plus superannuation and annual leave loading Your role Housing Services is a portfolio area under the Homes NSW umbrella. Homes NSW is a newly established division within the Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) with the vision to deliver quality homes and services that change lives and end homelessness. Homes NSW brings together the housing and homelessness functions of DCJ, the NSW Land and Housing Corporation (LAHC), Aboriginal Housing Office (AHO) and key worker housing functions from across government under one roof. The Housing Manager manages the day‑to‑day work of client service teams, providing direction, support, guidance, advice and feedback to team members. This role leads a small team of front‑line staff who provide assistance to people experiencing housing stress, homelessness and other issues that impact a person’s housing. The Housing Manager also reviews operational data and reports and facilitates the delivery of quality outcomes, including customer‑centred service delivery, strong partnerships for impact and a thriving and empowered workplace. What You’ll Do The Housing Manager will monitor and contribute to the overall development and management of housing operations across access and tenancy management in areas with high public housing concentration and social disadvantage. The role establishes and maintains a range of networks with clients, service providers and internal and external stakeholders to achieve client expectations and continuous improvement in service delivery. It requires providing expert advice, coaching and support to direct reports to ensure all team members are supported to improve productivity in a safe working environment. Possession of a minimum provisional 2 NSW Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel to and work with clients in their home and community (a corporate vehicle will be provided).
