About the Role We are looking for a Full Time experienced and values‑driven Senior Manager – Fundraising & Philanthropy to lead the next phase of our fundraising journey. This newly created, project‑funded role will shape Safe Steps’ long‑term philanthropic strategy and income growth. Responsibilities Lead the design and delivery of Safe Steps’ multi‑year fundraising and philanthropy strategy. Drive income diversification through major donors, philanthropy, trusts, foundations and partnerships. Build and manage high‑value relationships with donors, corporates and philanthropic networks. Develop compelling cases for support, proposals, donor communications and impact reporting. Establish governance frameworks, systems, policies and ethical frameworks for a growing fundraising function. Provide strategic advice and insight to the Executive Leadership Team and deliver performance reporting, revenue forecasting and budget management. Represent Safe Steps externally at key events, forums and partnership meetings, championing our impact and mission. Build organisational fundraising capability and support future team growth. Qualifications Proven experience in senior fundraising or philanthropy leadership. Demonstrated success delivering multi‑year fundraising strategies. Strong track record in major donor, philanthropic and partnership income. Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship‑building skills. Strong written communication, including proposals and cases for support. Experience establishing fundraising systems, governance and best practice. Ability to operate strategically and deliver hands‑on outcomes. Alignment with Safe Steps’ values and ethical practice.
