Front Office & Guest Services (Hospitality & Tourism) Casual/Vacation @ $30 - $40 per hour We are looking for a Guest Services Agent for Castlereagh Boutique Hotel reporting directly to the Front Office Manager. A rare vacancy is now open for a “hands on”, passionate Front Desk Receptionist at our historic hotel in the CBD. About the role Maintain an efficient, friendly professional approach to all duties performed in the role of Receptionist. Rotating shifts according to roster requirements. Attend to guest enquiries either by phone or in person. Check in and check out guests in a professional manner, with a smile. Ensure cash, credit cards and other forms of payment are handled honestly and accurately. Process reservations either by phone, fax, or email. Ensure other Front Desk related duties are handled quickly & efficiently. Be available for up to 38 hours over a 7-day roster including weekends as required. What we need from you Australian resident – no working or student visa (unlimited and unrestricted working rights for Australia required). Well groomed, another language an advantage. Minimum 12 months experience in a hotel or front office environment, or similar position (desirable). Valid RSA. Current Valid First Aid Certification. Confident, written and verbal communication skills in English and an excellent attention to detail. Resilience. Organizational skills and ability to prioritize workflow and workload.
