About the role We’re looking for a Presales Engineer who can blend strong cloud engineering skills with confident customer engagement. You’ll qualify opportunities, design well-architected solutions and provide technical oversight through delivery. Working closely with sales and delivery teams, you’ll act as a trusted advisor, shape repeatable approaches and help customers innovate across AWS, Azure and hybrid environments. This role is open to anyone either already in a presales role or a hands‑on engineer looking to take the next step into a consulting role. What you’ll do Scope, qualify and design cloud and hybrid solutions aligned to customer needs Provide presales expertise across Public Cloud and Hybrid cloud solutions Translate business challenges into clear, value-driven technical designs and proposals Prepare documentation, diagrams and costings for opportunities and RFPs Support delivery with technical oversight and complete provisioning packages Build strong customer relationships and act as an escalation point when required Share best practices and contribute to reusable methodologies and templates What we'd love to see 5+ years as an Engineer (Cloud, Networking, DevOps, etc.) focused primarily on project delivery work in public cloud environments or pre-existing Presales Engineering experience Writing low level design documents and pre-implementation documentation Experience working in MSP or Solution Integrator environments Ability to clearly articulate and document technical solutions Strong communication skills, proactive mindset and comfort in complex environments Experience in consulting or presales with senior stakeholders ideal but not required Benefits $135,000 + Superannuation + Bonus + Allowances Company benefits including discounted lifestyle services such as health insurance, salary packaging, and half‑day Fridays once a month Flexible hybrid work options and real work / life balance Join a fast‑growing organisation with an awesome culture – #4 Best Places to Work in Australia Convenient CBD location with modern offices Culture People here have real relationships that go beyond work, and maintaining our awesome culture is a top priority at AC3.
