Join Lineage as a Shift Team Leader at our Hemmant facility in Brisbane. Lineage is the world's largest temperature‑controlled industrial REIT and logistics solutions provider with a global network of over 400 facilities. This role offers the opportunity to innovate and make a meaningful impact on the food supply chain from farm to table. The position is based in Hemmant, Brisbane (Australia). Rostered hours are Monday to Friday 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, with Saturday overtime shifts available. You will report to the Shift Supervisor and be responsible for managing site operations with a focus on safety, production and dispatch, customer service and team engagement. Key Responsibilities Lead site safety initiatives and act as a visible safety champion. Ensure that company safety policies and procedures are implemented. Maintain agreed customer service levels and regularly review and take corrective action on any issues. Monitor and measure productivity against targets, identify gaps and implement corrective actions. Seek opportunities for continuous improvement with a focus on cost reduction. Ensure all staff are trained to operate machinery and understand the company's warehouse work systems. Develop and implement succession planning by providing an environment for developing and motivating others and building effective teams. Model the company values and behaviours: lead by example, hold the team accountable on their objectives and enable effective collaboration between teams. Qualifications Team Leader experience in warehousing, logistics or transport, preferably 3PL. Proven history of cost control and improvement. Strong understanding of safety procedures, regulatory requirements and standards. Experience managing customer relationships and resolving issues. Experience with product safety, quality and legality issues. Experience in HACCP/food safety processes related to critical control points. High‑risk forklift licence with stand‑up high‑reach experience. Experience and ability to work in a freezer environment. Why is this opportunity exciting?
