Early Childhood Educator (Qualified) - Port Hedland ELC Job Type: Permanent position | Full time position Job Description Early Childhood Educator (Qualified) – Port Hedland ELC YMCA WA (the Y WA) Young Men’s Christian Association. We are a local non‑profit early learning centre that inspires and nurtures children to become independent little butterflies. As our new Qualified Educator you will play a key role in delivering high quality early years education while balancing the demands of a permanent full‑time position. Salary & Benefits $67,918.50 per annum + 12% Superannuation $5.81 per hour Remote Allowance 10% ECEC Worker Retention Payment Subsidised housing & utilities Salary Packaging & Remote Area Tax Benefits Generous Relocation Assistance (if eligible) 1‑week paid leave for the holiday season Corporate healthcare discounts (up to 8%) Cash referral bonus: $500 for each referred friend Discounted childcare up to 70 % per day Novated leasing offer on a new car Responsibilities Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences for children 0‑5 years. Maintain a safe, hygienic, and inspiring environment for all children and families. Plan, implement, and evaluate high‑quality early childhood programmes. Ensure ongoing compliance with the National Quality Framework and related regulations. Collaborate with a close‑knit team of educators and support staff. Communicate regularly with families and partners about child development progress. Qualifications Graduate or Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent. Current first‑aid certificate (HLTAID012) or equivalent. Understands the National Quality Framework and National Education & Care Services Regulations 2012. Previous experience in child services, designing and implementing programs for 0‑5 year olds. Eligible for a National Police Certificate and a Working with Children card.
