Early Childhood Educator (Room Leader) – Port Hedland ELC Employer: Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA) – Y WA Location: Port Hedland Job Type: Permanent, Full Time Annual Salary: $71,038.50 to $73,203 + 12% Super per annum plus $5.81 p/h Remote Allowance Benefits Immediate access to the 10% ECEC Worker Retention Payment Subsidised housing & utilities (if eligible) Salary Packaging Remote Area Benefits (claim rent/mortgage/utilities) Relocation assistance package (if eligible) 1-week paid leave for the holiday season Corporate healthcare discounts (up to 8%) Earn $500 for each referral Discounted childcare up to 70% per day Novated leasing on offer for new car & tax savings Responsibilities Lead a close‑knit team of educators to provide a safe, hygienic and inspiring environment for children. Promote ‘School ReadY’ and maintain high quality programs. Manage compliance and ensure adherence to the National Quality Framework & National Education & Care Services Regulations 2012. Engage with children and families, fostering healthy development in body, mind, and spirit. Lead daily operations and support staff development. Qualifications Degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent. HLTAID012 First Aid Certificate (or equivalent). Experience in child services, developing and implementing programs for 0‑5 year olds. Ability to obtain a National Police Certificate and Working with Children card.
