Overview We are looking for a Communications Specialist to join our Global Corporate Communications team. Reporting to the Senior Communications Manager in Sydney, you will work with the global team to support the delivery of various internal and external communications programs for our broad range of stakeholders, in line with the team’s goals and the organisation’s strategic priorities. This role will be starting in 2026. Key Responsibilities Support strategic communications and engagement campaigns under the guidance of Senior Communications Managers, collaborating with global teams (Hong Kong, London), internal stakeholders (Investment, People & Culture, Sustainability, Responsible Investment) and PR agencies Assist in planning and execution of communications strategies, including developing campaign plans and timelines Provide copywriting and editorial support for diverse channels: intranet articles, media releases, briefing notes, video scripts, and social media content Manage and maintain intranet content on Microsoft SharePoint: build news articles, ensure design and structure align with style guides, and support contributors with training and accountability Coordinate hybrid employee engagement sessions (Sydney office and online via Teams), ensuring presenters are prepared and sessions run smoothly Film and edit short videos (e.g. on iPhone) for internal campaigns, guiding talent through the process Support media relations activities: outreach/pitching, coordinating interviews and training, drafting briefing documents Contribute to media coverage reporting: share relevant coverage, review weekly highlights, and assist with quarterly reports Identify media opportunities and develop pitches for spokespeople Work flexibly across time zones for global alignment; evening calls with UK colleagues may be required Provide ad hoc support to the Global Head of Corporate Communications on key deliverables Your Experience 3+ years experience in an agency or corporate communications role, agency preferred Skilled in internal communications, media relations, event management, and thought leadership Calm under pressure, able to manage unexpected challenges professionally Adaptable and proactive, self-starter who thrives in global, high-performing teams Solution-driven mindset with a strong can-do attitude Committed to accuracy, confidentiality, and accountability Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Knowledge of asset management industry, competitor landscape, and global business dynamics is highly valued Skills Excellent written and verbal communication, able to turn complex info into clear, engaging content for diverse audiences Degree in Communications or equivalent experience Proficient in Office 365 tools (Microsoft SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint) Basic video production and editing skills Familiar with digital content management systems for large audiences (e.g. SharePoint) About us Powering possibilities At First Sentier Group, we believe it is our responsibility to help clients achieve the financial freedom they desire, unlocking a world of possibilities.
