About Us Stamford Plaza is Brisbane’s finest 5‑star luxury hotel with 252 rooms offering stunning river views. The hotel features eight function rooms and multiple food and beverage outlets, serving corporate, special events, weddings, and guests from around the world. About The Role The Reservations Agent works full time under the Reservations Manager, promoting and selling accommodation, services and facilities to a broad clientele, including corporate accounts, travel agents and tour operators. The role demands excellent communication, discretion, and the ability to meet high‑profile guest needs. Duties And Responsibilities Enter all reservations accurately into Opera PMS. Upsell hotel accommodation to increase average room rate while maintaining occupancy. Liaise closely with the Revenue Manager regarding rates, packages and overbooking situations. Coordinate special requests for incoming guests with relevant departments prior to their arrival. Maintain punctuality, efficiency and courteousness at all times. Provide personal service to guests and follow through to completion. Monitor VIP guest movements, hotel events, local attractions and activities. Support Front Office when required. Work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays. Skills And Experience Experience using Opera property management system is an advantage. A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. Excellent communication skills with guests, management and team members. Attention to detail. Strong team orientation.
