Lecturer x 2 – Pharmacology & Physiology Department of Pharmacology, Department of Physiology, UNSW. Employment type: Full time (35 hrs/week). Duration: Fixed-term contract until 31 December. Remuneration: $127k – $150k base + 17% super, leave loading (based on experience). Working rights: Must hold full rights to work in Australia. Visa sponsorship not available. Location: Kensington, Sydney. Overview The School of Biomedical Sciences is one of the largest teaching schools at UNSW, uniquely positioned to inspire the next generation of science and medical graduates. We play a key role in arming future doctors, health practitioners, biomedical scientists and a broader community of health professionals, each of whom will bring a specialised and diverse skill set to the frontiers of medical science. Key Skills Required A PhD in Pharmacology, Physiology, or a related biomedical discipline. Demonstrated experience in effective biomedical teaching (development, delivery, and course convening) at an undergraduate and/or postgraduate level. Evidence of teaching effectiveness and passion for educational excellence. Evidence of ability to support and inspire students from diverse backgrounds and support student equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives. Evidence of highly developed interpersonal and organisational skills.
