Lecturer/Senior Lecturer, Project Management – UNSW Canberra Join the School of Engineering and Technology (SET) at UNSW Canberra as a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Project Management. This fixed‑term contract (35 hours per week) will run for two years. Employment Details Fixed‑term contract, full‑time (35 hours per week) Duration: 2 years Remuneration: Level B from $127,947 / Level C from $155,403 plus leave loading and 17% super Location: UNSW Canberra, ADFA Campus, Australia About the Role This role will contribute to course and program delivery, development and innovation, and supervision of students in the UNSW Project Management Program and the Master of Project Management (Canberra). Responsibilities Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate project‑management courses and programmes. Design, develop and assess learning activities. Lead curriculum improvement and research‑informed teaching practices. Mentor students and junior colleagues. Engage with industry partners to enhance the relevance of teaching. Qualifications and Experience PhD in project management or a closely related discipline; or a Master’s degree with substantial experience in course/program design and delivery. Profound understanding of project management principles, methodologies and best practices with a track record of relevant academic and professional achievements. Practical experience in the project‑management industry to integrate theory with real‑world applications. Experience in course development and delivery at postgraduate and/or undergraduate level. Evidence of initiating curriculum development and improvement and a passion for engaging learning experiences. A commitment to mentoring students and junior colleagues and potential to lead within the academic community. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with students, colleagues and industry partners. A proactive approach to professional development, staying up‑to‑date with trends and pedagogical approaches in project management.
