Location: Liverpool Hospital Position Classification: Dietitian Level 3 Remuneration: $58.95 - $60.86 per hour About the Opportunity The Dietetics Department at Liverpool Hospital is seeking a dedicated Oncology Dietitian to join our dynamic and supportive team. As part of the Liverpool Dietetics and Cancer Service, you will play a vital role in delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred nutrition care to individuals undergoing haematology treatment, including Bone Marrow Transplant. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver culturally responsive, patient‑centred dietetic services. Develop and implement tailored nutrition plans that reflect the unique needs of our community. Mentor and supervise junior dietitians, supporting their growth and development. Lead and contribute to service innovation through quality improvement initiatives, policy development, and research. What You'll be Doing This position is responsible for providing patient‑centred and high‑quality nutrition services to clients, including providing nutritional care to patients as per caseload; provide and participate in education and evaluation; supervise students and Level 1‑2 dietitian as appropriate; and participate in ongoing professional development. As a key teaching facility for UNSW Sydney and Western Sydney University, it provides extensive clinical services, including emergency care, cancer treatment, paediatrics, and mental health services. The hospital features 23 operating theatres and has a capacity for 877 beds. Post graduate qualification or Bachelor in Nutrition and Dietetics as recognised by the Dietitians Association of Australia. Demonstrated relevant clinical experience, including advanced practice skills in managing complex caseloads, alongside a strong commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence‑based practice. Experience and knowledge in service development and quality improvement. Demonstrated ability in clinical supervision of students and/or staff. Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication, including group education skills, alongside strong computer proficiency (including CBORD), with a proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team and effectively engage with stakeholders.
