Key Responsibilities Construct, assemble, install, and dismantle formwork for foundations, walls, columns, beams, slabs, and other concrete structures. Interpret and work from drawings, plans, and specifications to build accurate formwork structures. Ensure all formwork is aligned, levelled, braced, and compliant with site safety and engineering requirements. Cut, shape, and assemble timber, plywood, and other materials to create formwork panels and supports. Install and strip formwork safely while protecting structural integrity. Measure, mark, and set out materials using appropriate tools and standards. Construct and install temporary structures and safety barriers as required. Use power tools, hand tools, and machinery safely and efficiently. Repair and maintain formwork systems, timber structures, and supports. Follow building codes, construction standards, and company procedures. Requirements At least 2-3 years of experience as a Formwork Carpenter in construction projects. At least Certificate III in a relevant field is preferrable. Strong understanding of formwork systems (timber, conventional, or modular). Ability to read and interpret construction drawings. Competent with carpentry tools and equipment. White Card (required). Reliable, hardworking, and safety-focused. Work locations vary depending on project sites.
