Physiotherapist / Exercise Physiologist Grade 1 / 2 – Part-time Healthscope – Victoria Clinic, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The Victoria Clinic has recently moved into a new state‑of‑the‑art, purpose‑built inpatient mental health hospital, which includes a rooftop gymnasium, expanding to 115 beds. The Victoria Clinic provides a range of inpatient programs, which are growing to meet the needs of patients. The Victoria Clinic has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Physiotherapist / Exercise Physiologist to develop and facilitate group exercise programs and education sessions. Come and be the difference in our patient's lives. Key Responsibilities Conduct and facilitate group therapy sessions in the gym. Provide physical assessment services to people with a wide range of psychiatric conditions in an inpatient setting as required. Liaise with referrers, multi‑disciplinary team, relatives, and other services as required. Participate in the development and evaluation of policies and programs as appropriate. To Be Successful In This Role You Should Possess Experience in facilitating a range of exercise groups for inpatients with mental health conditions. Ability to plan, implement and monitor exercise groups. Experience working with clients with a range of mental health issues.
