Toolijooa Nursery specialises in the collection & propagation of provenance native seed & cuttings throughout the Sydney Basin & beyond. We are looking to employ a nursery hand to work at our native plant nursery in West Hoxton, NSW, 2171. Duties Production of native plants such as potting up, cuttings and division Picking and preparing orders for dispatch Contributing to the overall success of the nursery operations Assisting in other tasks such as stock movement, irrigation diagnostics/maintenance and any other general nursery tasks Undertaking general maintenance of the grounds and infrastructure About You Excellent attention to detail Good communication Punctual Comfortable with repetitive work and can stand for extended periods Ability to work in a fast paced and team-based environment Strong work ethic Willing to work in all weather conditions What we offer Training and development in: Nursery production, Nursery dispatching of plants, Plant hygiene, care and maintenance, Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Great culture and working environment Clear career path with plenty of opportunities to progress Permanent positions available & potential study via Tafe for your Certificate III in Nursery Operations for the right candidates The Nursery Award 2020 is fully implemented at Toolijooa Nursery. #J-18808-Ljbffr
