ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for someone who is eager to get out there and ‘network, network, network’, and passionate about nurturing client relationships As a Junior Account Manager (Business Development & Account Management) , you will be focusing on generating new business, targeting the travel and tourism industries & serving as the first level of support to existing clients/accounts. You will be a strong communicator, reliable, organised, and keen to kick-start your sales career. You will be ready to take responsibility and ownership of your clients, and have a passion for driving new business opportunities and sales. POSITION SUMMARY/KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Selling TransPerfect’s GlobalLink technology to new and existing clients – A Localisation & TMS (Translation Management System) Generate new sales leads via cold calling, emailing, primary research, networking, trade shows & events. Provide customer support and manage client expectations in liaison with the Production Management Team Identify, qualify, develop and close sales opportunities in coordination with Sales Management Promote and educate clients regarding TransPerfect’s services Manage and control pricing and contractual issues by developing a thorough understanding of company procedures Take an active role in learning about each client’s industry, business needs and company culture to identify new business opportunities and provide a high level of service REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Excellent problem solving skills Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Service-focused with a desire to exceed clients’ expectations Multitasking and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency Commit to always treating everyone (from clients to co-workers to vendors to business partners) with the ultimate level of respect Work well in a team with people from a variety of different backgrounds and cultures Build and maintain strategic relationships with clients and co-workers Celebrate diversity and embrace new ideas and differing perspectives Take active measures to achieve results and solve problems JOB PERKS Annual global TransPerfect conferences (merit based – prior locations include Venice, Thailand and Amsterdam) Opportunities to travel within ANZ for your clients Attend industry tradeshows Hiring Manager: Paulina Belcik - By applying, I confirm I have read and accept TransPerfect's Privacy Policy: TransPerfect provides equal employment opportunities to all individuals regardless of their race, colour, creed, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by local law.
