About the role The City are seeking experienced and qualified swimming instructors to join their Leisure Services Team. Your role is to teach and supervise participants during swimming lessons, teaching the “Learn to Swim” program and keeping adequate records. You maintain a high level of Workplace Health and Safety at all times and ensure Aqua Jetty’s policies and procedures are adhered to. You have a passion for helping people reach their goals and use your interpersonal skills to communicate effectively and relate to a diverse group of people. You have previous swimming teaching experience and a keen knowledge of related principles and other matters, including emergency procedures. Essential requirements for this position Current AUSTSWIM Certificate – Teaching of Swimming and Water Safety or equivalent Current Provide First Aid Certificate Current CPR Certificate Current Working with Children Check In applying for this role, you will be considered for work at both Aqua Jetty and the Rockingham Aquatic Centre.
