We receive excellent Patient Survey results and have a high QOF achievement. A member of Cambridge GP Federation, Cambridge and Peterborough ICB and South Ely PCN. Job summary The Salaried GP will act autonomously and will participate in the care of all age ranges and presenting conditions within their professional scope of practice. They will provide care for patients by face‑to‑face appointments, telephone consultations and home visits (as appropriate). The postholder will triage and prioritise the needs of patients from the daily request list on AskmyGP and undertake assessment, investigation, diagnosis, treatment / referral and prescribing for patients, ensuring clinical safety and excellent care at all times. Duties and responsibilities Work as part of a multi‑disciplinary team to deliver safe and high‑quality care. Carry out clinical practice at an advanced level using expert clinical skills, critical judgments & knowledge to deliver appropriate and safe care. Delivery of care in line with the National Service Framework and NICE guidelines and evidence‑based care. Lone Working – You may have to work alone, and therefore you are required to adhere to the relevant lone working policy. Risk Management – All members of staff have a responsibility to report all clinical and non‑clinical accidents or incidents promptly and when requested to, co‑operate with any investigation undertaken. Person Specification Recent experience of working in general practice in the UK. Evidence of competence in the clinical assessment, diagnosis and management of adults and children. Commitment to working as part of a multidisciplinary and skill‑mixed team environment. Experience of working to achieve standards within the Quality and Outcome Framework (QOF). Medical practitioner included on the National Performers List. Must not be subject to any suspension or restrictions to practice. DBS clearance. Had annual NHS appraisal.
