Role overview We are seeking an experienced product development officer with a passion for research and innovation in the Complementary Medicine Industry to join our growing team in Brisbane, QLD. With a strong regulatory background in listed medicines, you will play a role in the key steps of the product development process from concept to commercialization. With a passion for product innovation, you’ll have the ability to evaluate ingredients, develop evidence tables and create educational materials contributing to the advancement of the health professional industry. Key responsibilities Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop products, including formulation development, education and marketing material. Research and review scientific literature and traditional evidence to produce evidence‑based, and therapeutically effective products compliant Australian regulatory standards (TGA). Develop evidence tables and permitted indications relevant to listed medicines and food regulation. Develop safety‑benefit profile for new products as best practice for Pharmacovigilance. Develop and deliver product trainings and marketing materials complaint to regulatory guidelines. Coordinate with external and internal stakeholders to meet project timelines and deliver high‑quality outcomes. Skills and experience A minimum of 3 years product development in complementary listed medicine or 5 years’ experience in a comparable role. Bachelor's degree in nutrition, naturopathy, pharmacy, chemistry, or similar Complementary Medicine qualification. Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for complementary medicines (including TGA guidelines). Excellent project coordination and research skills, and ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team. A proven regulatory ability to develop listed medicines and permitted indications. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines, projects and priorities simultaneously.
