The Position: Wallis Drilling are seeking an individual HSEQ Advisor to service our expanding client base. The role is field based but requires some time spent at the Midvale Head Office. The successful candidate will be paid a competitive salary based on skills, experience and agreed roster. Rosters that may be considered depending on site locations are 14:7, 12:9 and 9:5. As a HSEQ Advisor, your duties will include, but not limited to: Assist in the identification and assessment of risks and implementation of controls Assist in developing and maintaining effective procedures Effectively communicate HSEQ issues to all levels in a timely manner Participate in and/or conduct Incident Investigations Ability to conduct HSEQ Audits Be self-driven and have the ability to work autonomously Develop and assess employee competencies (VOC Training Tools and Inductions) The Candidate: To be considered for this position, it is essential you have all of the following (as a minimum): Certificate IV in OHS/WHS (or working towards completion) Residency in Perth, Western Australia Be able to pass Drug and Alcohol testing Be prepared to work in a variety of environments Must be team focused Ability to write and review reports based on findings Desirable Skills or Qualifications: Training and Assessing qualifications Exposure to auditing Testing and Tagging Drug and Alcohol testing Exposure to the drilling and/or mining industry Experience with Safety Management Systems Experience with SharePoint and Microsoft Suite (e.g. powerpoint, excel, word etc) How to apply: If you have the right qualifications and attitude to work for Wallis Drilling, please submit a cover letter, current resume and current drivers’ licence via the “Apply Now” button.
