Solutions Sales Specialist – SAM and Software Licensing Solutions Location: This is a hybrid opportunity and can be based in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, or Perth. About the role The manager for this role is Natalie Rice – Practice Lead for Optimisation and Governance Solutions. Natalie is based in Sydney. A Solutions Sales Specialist is a strategic, customer‑focused Pre‑Sales Technical Consultant. This role plays a critical part in shaping and articulating solution narratives that align with our customers' business outcomes. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of technical expertise, commercial insight and storytelling ability to support pre‑sales and sales activities and drive engagement across stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Lead customer discovery sessions and develop tailored solution recommendations. Develop and deliver high‑impact proposals, executive‑ready presentations and technical demonstrations. Contribute to sales enablement through the creation and operationalisation of reusable assets, frameworks and programs. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align technical and commercial messaging across customer touchpoints. Support go‑to‑market planning, adoption campaigns and strategic initiatives. Key Qualities & Qualifications Proven experience in solution consulting, with expertise in Software Asset Management and Microsoft Software Licensing. Experience with FinOps. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence pipeline performance and shape go‑to‑market strategies. Excellent communication skills with a focus on executive‑ready narratives, solution proposals and presentation delivery. Demonstrated ability to build rapport with senior stakeholders and align technical and business perspectives. Experience developing scalable enablement programs, tools and sales frameworks.
